Anticipating the HillTop Festival

September 30, 2026

OCTOBER 3RD 2026 - HILLTOP FESTIVAL / Rutherfordton NC (western NC foothills)

I can’t believe we are going to be hosting a booth at the HillTop Festival in Rutherfordton, NC in just a few weeks. We’re discounting all of the books sold in person until we run out!

I have spent a LOT on preparing our booth and I hope it turns out like I expect. Notes to self: (1) Add a fan and a heater. (2) Create a place to store extra copies of books. (3) Bring water for self and a bowl for pets. There are lots of things that I could change or add, but these are the three that seem most important.

We set up the canopy, complete with side panels, posters, tables, etc., in the front yard today. I think we're going to be okay.

Hope to see everyone I know, which of course would be catastrophic since I taught school for 20 years and know all those students and their parents. Yee-Ha!
